"Win" is a difficult thing to nail down exactly as it depends on context. ![]() It is completely and totally irrelevant that an individual that can spend more time playing should be balanced with an individual who can't but has money to burn. It is undeniable that an Idris is a more capable vessel than an Aurora, and so are most (all?) ships on offer. You can pay now for a significant day one (that is release) advantage over others. At the upper end of the scale are games that make it incredibly hard (time consuming) or impossible to achieve goals without investing real money. At the lower end of the scale there are games where investing real money confers minor advantages. Way I see it P2W is not a black and white argument, it's a sliding scale. What annoys me is not admitting that it is pay to win. I don't have any real issues with SC being pay to win. ![]()
